The Perfect Guy

My new sentence pattern! Yay!

The perfect guy would have (insert guy's name here)'s (insert characteristic here).

Let's Start!

The perfect guy would have...

Sorimachi Takashi - voice, body, stance/poise/walk, charm, height

Tamaki Hiroshi - acting prowess

Jason Abalos - sensitivity/sentimentality

Takeshi Yasutoko - skate park, athleticism, discipline/determination

Ethan Hawke - intellect

>> These are all subject to change, as I'm not really sure if Jason Abalos is sensitive in real life, or if Ethan Hawke is really as smart as he seems. But for the others (i.e. the Japanese guys), I'm pretty sure that won't change.

Hana Kimi Take 2

[Post this in the Wordpress blog]

I'm watching Hana Kimi again. The Japanese version. I tried watching the Taiwanese one, but I just couldn't. I keep thinking of Oguri Shun and Ikuta Toma and Horikita Maki and... (surprise surprise!) Mizushima Hiro, and end up missing reading the subtitles. Hence, I stopped playing Hana Kimi Taiwan, and switched to Hana Kimi Japan instead, for the second time.

I've already seen Hana Kimi Japan before, all 12 episodes of it. But of course back then, my focus was on Oguri Shun and Ikuta Toma. (Oh, and the story, too of course. :P) I loved it to bits. But I enjoy watching dramas (and movies as well) for the second time, because you get to notice things you didn't before, because you were still curious about the story. Now that I already know everything that's going to happen, I can focus more on the things that I guess I neglected during my first watching of it. Like Mizushima Hiro. :)

Here's a fact: Nanba-sempai was my 3rd favorite character in the series. Next to Nakatsu and Sano, I really really liked Nanba-sempai. Although, just like with Kubozuka Yosuke, he was kind of pushed to the back of my thoughts because he wasn't the lead character, and I was preoccupied with the lead characters. But now, after seeing him as the lead character in Zettai Kareshi, I'm convinced more than ever that he is also crush-worthy. As in, first string crush-worthy. I just love it.

I love seeing how sometimes a supporting actor becomes a lead actor, and how a lead actor becomes a supporting one. You get to see the different aspects of the person, when he plays different roles. And I feel like I get to know them better. It's hard to explain, but I think for fellow fangirls, I don't need to. I think they probably know what I mean.

Actually I really just wanted to say that it's really enjoyable watching a drama for the second time. I enjoy it almost just as much as the first. There's just so many new discoveries! (Re-discoveries are lots of fun, too.) Here's to happy happy j-dorama-watching-for-the-second-time! :D

Mainstream

Mehn...

Somehow I feel bad, because I can't relate now to all their reminiscing. Bakit ba walang nakaka-relate sa Tales from the Dark Side, The X-Files, SeaQuest at Star Trek: The Next Generation? Ako lang ba at 'yung mga kapatid ko ang mga batang nanood nun?! @_@

Although mainstream rin naman to a point ang The Vision of Escaflowne, Ghostfighter, Gundam Wing at BLEACH, pero medyo bago na 'yun. Wala ring naka-relate masyado sa A Dog of Flanders at The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn na feeling ko ngayon 'eh ako lang ata ang nanood. Maski 'yung Magic Knight RayEarth. Hay...

Palagi ko na lang bang proproblemahin ito? Akala ko ba hindi ako unique? Akala ko ba karaniwang tao lang ako? 'Eh bakit ganito? Kung normal lang ako, bakit walang nakakaintindi sa'kin? Kung pinapagdaanan nang lahat ng tao ang dinadaanan ko, bakit walang nagsasabi kung paano ako matutulungan?

This is the post where I say kung saan pinaka-gwapo (in my opinion) ang mga gwapong celebrities :)

Dahil ako ay fangirl na walang lovelife sa tunay na buhay, share ko sa inyo ang mga kasalukuyang iniisip ko.

Here is my sentence pattern for today:

Pinakagwapo si _(insert actor's name here)_ sa _(insert TV drama/movie/event title here)_.

Okey? Let's start!

Disclaimer: This is of course, just my opinion. And you're all welcome to agree/disagree or point me towards another show/event/picture wherein mas-gwapo ang hitsura nila. ;)

1. Yasutoko Takeshi - X-Games IX in 2003
2. Sorimachi Takashi - Wonderful Life (J-dorama)
3. Tamaki Hiroshi - Nodame Cantabile (J-dorama)
4. Jason Abalos - My Kuya's Wedding (Movie)
5. Daniel Wu - Love Undercover / Naked Weapon (Movies - and yes, 'di ako maka-decide between the two. Iba kasi ang dating niya sa both movies, and equally gwapo :D)
6. Edison Chen - Final Romance (Movie)
7. Kubozuka Yosuke - Onatsuki (Movie)
8. Oguri Shun - Hana Kimi (J-dorama)
9. Song Seung Hoon - He Was Cool (Movie)
10. Yamashita Tomohisa - Proposal Daisakusen (J-dorama)
11. Ikuta Toma - Hana Kimi (J-dorama)
12. Hugh Jackman - Someone Like You (Movie)
13. Mikel Campos - Sarah, The Teen Princess (Teleserye)
14. Kim Rae Won - ...ING (Movie)
15. Jason Behr - Roswell (Drama Series)
16. Drake Bell - Drake and Josh, Season 1 (Sitcom)
17. Orlando Bloom - (It's a toss-up between) Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Movie) and Elizabethtown (Movie)
18. Mizushima Hiro - Zettai Kareshi (J-dorama)
19. Piolo Pascual - 9 Mornings (Movie)
20. Ethan Hawke - Gattaca (Movie)
21. Jude Law - Talented Mr. Ripley (Movie)
22. Johnny Depp - Chocolat / Pirates of the Carribean

'Yun pa lang. Dadagdagan ko pa next time, complete with screenshots (hopefully). Hehehe. :D

Quote from "Long Love Letter"

Well, this isn't exactly what Asami (Yosuke Kubozuka) said, but I like it phrased this way:

"I'm lucky to have shared my destiny with you."

[What he said was: I feel very lucky to share my future and destiny with these people.]
